Monique StaTeena is an American actress, model, and television personality.  She has been described as stunning, charismatic, and intriguing.  When she walks into a room her presence is undeniable.  She first came to fame as a contestant on America’s Next Top Model.  Following Top Model, Monique continued to pursue her passion and has become a successful, sought after professional model and actress and can now be seen everywhere from Tv shows, to the runway, to magazines, to commercials and videos. 

 

She has graced the runway for such notable designers as Balenciaga, Giorgio Armani, CHANEL, Alberta Ferretti, Michael Costello, Monique Ihuillier, Sue Wong, Peter Hildago, Sophie Theallet, Farah Angasana, Kevan Hall, and Jimmy Choo to name a few and is a constant presence on the runways during New York and LA fashion weeks. 

 

Monique has been featured in national commercials for Beats by Dre, Smirnoff, Volkswagen, Fiat, Target, Kotex, Vegas.com, Marshalls, Payless & Apple as well as alongside Kevin Hart in a Coca-Cola Coke Zero commercial for his hit movie “Let Me Explain.” 

 

Some of her Television appearances include Nickelodeon "Game Shakers," Tosh.0, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Big Shots, Rules of Engagement, Style Network, BRAVO, Oxygen, and HBO's TV series Entourage. In addition, she has appeared in several music videos including Ne-Yo "Miss Independent," Usher “Good Kisser,” Chris Brown “Episode," and Kelly Rowland with David Guetta "When Love takes Over."

 

Monique’s passion beyond modeling is philanthropy.  She has donated her time to many worthy causes including The Children Uniting Nations 10th Annual Academy Awards, Operation Save a Child, United Way Home Walk 5k Run, The Pantry Box Woodland hills, The Academy of Communication and Technology, and Kanye West’s S.H.O.W.S Foundation Benefit.  She delivered the keynote speech at The Danny Clark Foundation in 2012 & at The Inner youth Back 2 School program 2015 to fight against teen suicide and has been invited to speak at many more youth events about self-esteem and education.  Monique is currently working on setting up her own foundation whose primary focus will be on domestic violence and women and children in abusive relationships.  

Monique has an enthusiasm for life and a curious soul.  Her passion is in modeling and acting, her heart is in philanthropy, and she also has a head for business.  She has several entrepreneurial ventures on the horizon and hopes to grow her profession into a brand similar to such famous models turned entrepreneurs as Iman, Cindy Crawford, Heidi Klum and Tyra Banks.
